About Queenstown Photography Club
The Queenstown Photography Club Inc. (QPC) is a non-profit organisation, affiliated with the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ).
Our primary goal is to promote and support the art and science of photography as a means of creative expression achieved through awareness, education and participation. We strive to provide an enjoyable and stimulating forum through which members can receive practical information to help improve their technique, develop their artistic vision, share ideas and keep pace with industry trends.
We welcome both amateur and professional photographers. Our club nights are held monthly and we organise regular photography field trips around the Queenstown area.
If you would like more information about our Club and its activities, please feel free to contact any of the committee or e-mail us at info@qtphotoclub.co.nz

About Queenstown Photography Club
The current Queenstown Photography Club was formed in April 2012. A previous local camera club had been disbanded many years before. For a place renowned throughout the world for its photogenic beauty, it has only been in quite recent times that local enthusiasts have banded together more formally to share their love of photography.
An ad placed in Mountain Scene calling for the establishment of a Queenstown Camera Club attracted attention, and about 30-40 interested photographers attended the first meeting.
From there, they decided to organise a group photography trip and the following month the first committee was elected.
Since 2012, the club set out to provide a fun place for photographers of all levels to meet, improve their technique, develop their artistic vision and share ideas. Currently the club has around 45 members, of which 21 have contributed some of their work for this exhibition.
Queenstown Photography Club is an affiliated member of the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ).
New members of all levels are welcome to join!
